Record an hour with them.
We’ll ask the questions.
Hear them again.
One real conversation with the person you love, recorded properly, and kept. Then we do the hard part: their voice, their stories, their life, made whole enough to talk to. You hear them first, and you pay us nothing unless we did it. The recording is yours either way, from the moment the call ends.
- The hour itself. The recording of the whole conversation, yours the moment it ends.
- Every word, written down. The transcript, in their own words, searchable, kept.
- Their life, placed in time. The stories they told, laid out on a timeline you can walk.
- Their voice, made properly. We take an honest day and craft it by hand, from the hour you recorded. Never in seconds, and never faked.
The part nobody else does
We ask the questions
Most family recordings are wasted, because nobody knows what to ask. You get twenty minutes of “so, tell me about your childhood” and a kind old man being polite. We put the next question on the screen and follow what they’ve already said, so the hour goes somewhere. That is the difference between a recording and the hour you’ll be glad you had.
What happens next
Three steps, and one of them is ours
- One
You come in.
Your email, a 6-digit code, and you have an account. About a minute, and no password to invent.
- Two
You ask them.
This is the hardest part of the whole thing, and it isn’t technical: it’s saying it out loud to your father. So we’ve written the words for you, ready to send. There’s a page written for them, too, so they know exactly what they’re saying yes to.
- Three
We record the two of you.
A video call, an hour, with the questions coming up on the screen, one at a time. Nobody from here is in the room with you: it is your family’s conversation. The recording is handed to you the moment it ends, and their voice follows about a day later, made by hand.
Plainly
What free actually means
- One free recorded hour per family, and one voice made from it. We record a few families a week, by hand, because a person listens to every voice we make. That’s a real limit, and it’s the only one we have.
- Free means free. No card, no trial, no expiring anything. There is a paid thing here (a whole life, across many sittings, for a whole family, kept for good), and we will tell you about it once, plainly, after you’ve heard them. Never before.
- The recording is yours to take with you. Every file, every word, downloadable, whenever you want it. Read our promise.
- There’s no hurry from us, and there’s never a countdown. The only real urgency is the one we didn’t invent: the recording exists only if it’s made while they’re here.
If the person you love has already passed, this door isn’t the one for you, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Start here instead: bring us what they left behind, and we’ll tell you honestly what can be done with it.
